Choose the project and folder where Studio should save the next image or clip.
Create a project or choose an existing one before you generate.
Workspace Context shows the active project, selected output folder, and Pipe. New images and clips are saved in that folder. The viewer and nearby Gallery follow the selected project.
Choose the three controls #
- Project: choose the body of work this image or clip belongs to.
- Folder: choose where Studio should save it inside the project.
- Pipe: choose the workflow-backed tool you want to use.
- Confirm that any required source images or clips are available.
- Generate after the visible project and folder match your intent.
When to create another folder #
Use folders for meaningful groups such as finals, explorations, masks, source frames, or a named delivery. A folder is most useful when its name tells you what belongs there.
What follows the selected project #
The viewer, nearby Gallery, save location, and compatible media actions follow the selected project. The Pipe remains reusable and is not copied when you select another project.
If an image went to the wrong folder #
Move the image or clip from Gallery, then correct Workspace Context before generating again. If the Project location moved, reconnect it first. Use a new folder for a nearby experiment and a new Project when the files or backup should remain separate.
