See which Studio installations belong to your account and remove access from a device you no longer control.
Before you start #
Sign in to the web account that owns the installations. A device record represents an installation linked to that account, not the contents of its local project folders.
Review devices #
- Open the Web devices page from your account or My Desk.
- Check the device name, platform, and recent activity.
- Match each record to an installation you recognize.
- Select Revoke for a device you sold, lost, retired, or no longer trust.
- If you still control that installation, return to it and confirm that signed-in features now require authorization again.
The current Web devices page supports review and revocation. It does not rename device records.
Read the consequence #
Removing a device ends its account relationship and remote capabilities. Local Studio files remain on that machine. Use your operating-system and storage controls when local data must also be erased.
