What's new in 1.4

  • The panel is easier to read. The big tabs are pages of sub-tabs, each with a light that says whether its section is on, over a status bar that sums the page up. The Img2Img bar has colour coded chips and an issues box.
  • Overview tab. The whole run as boxes in the order it happens: green on, grey off, amber stood aside, red needs fixing. Hover for the reason, click to open the page that decides it. Check installs lists every node pack and model your settings need, with a link to each.
  • Run tab. Generate, the stage list, the live picture and a memory chart in one place.
  • VRAM limit. Set it to your card. The line under it says what the run needs with nothing held, and the run holds models as it goes to stay under the limit, so a rig that would not fit the card renders on it anyway.
  • The Detailer, Post FX and Save now run inside the node. Nothing to wire after it.
  • Errors say what went wrong and where to fix it. Nothing fails silently: an External sampler with nothing wired, a canvas set to a wire that is not there, Save switched off, a missing pack or model. The log links to where a missing thing comes from.
  • A rig can be your own nodes. Three rig nodes share the rig's name; the Workspace hands your sampler the prompts, latent, seed and settings, and takes the picture back.
  • Swap works on any render. Re-angle and Swap share one shape: source or new render, a polish pass, skip the pass.
  • Four kinds of Detailer pass. Post FX is a list of cards beside one editor.
  • Draft switch. Skips the Detailer and Post FX so a seed is cheap to judge.
  • Security. The published pack makes no network call, runs no program and reads no environment variable. 1.4.0 passed the Comfy Registry's automated scan and is Active.
