V67 Natural color palette

This LoRA is the chromatic soul of the V67 ecosystem—a meticulously crafted color grading suite that strips away digital oversaturation and restores the organic, fading palette of 1970s press film stocks. Where its sister model handles contrast and grit, this one governs color : a restrained, melancholic, and deeply natural spectrum anchored in terracotta, olive, ochre, and slate.

Designed as the perfect companion to V67 Photojournalism quality , this model transforms Z Image Turbo generations into timeless editorial frames. It tames harsh digital blues, crushes neon greens, and pushes every image toward a warm, dusty, earth-bound neutrality. Perfect for environmental portraits, war-torn landscapes, rural documentaries, urban decay, and any scene that demands authentic, unfiltered color storytelling. No electric blues, no radioactive greens—only the honest, faded hues of a well-worn contact sheet.

Stylistic Features

Muted Earth Chroma – Aggressive desaturation of blues and cyans; midtones lean toward olive green and burnt umber, while highlights retain a soft, amber-kissed warmth.

Dusty Blacks & Creamy Whites – Shadows are never pure black; they carry a subtle brown or green tint (split-toning). Whites roll off into warm, paper-like creams instead of sterile digital white.

Analog Emulsion Texture – Built-in micro-variation in hue and saturation across the frame, mimicking the irregular dye layers of expired Kodak Portra and Fuji Pro 400H.

Natural Light Harmony – Perfectly calibrated for golden hour, overcast skies, and tungsten streetlights; enhances warm sources while neutralizing cold LED and fluorescent casts.

Vintage Color Bleed – Subtle halation in the red channel around bright highlights, replicating the glow of uncorrected film lenses and darkroom printing.

Terracotta & Sage Dominance – Skin tones shift toward warm, lifelike terracotta; foliage and environmental greens desaturate into calm, muted sage and moss.

Non-Destructive Grading – Works purely on the color domain; leaves composition, contrast, and sharpness untouched (deferring to your DSLR/Photojournalism models for those).

3:2 Classic Framing Support – Maintains perfect color consistency across horizontal, vertical, and square crops without breaking the emulsion feel.

Example Prompts (Showcase – 4 Versatile Scenarios)

1. Rural Documentary / Golden Hour (User Provided) A weathered farmer walking through a vast olive grove at sunset, dust rising from the dry earth, gnarled trees casting long twisted shadows, warm ochre light filtering through the leaves, deep terracotta soil contrasting with muted sage foliage, the farmer wearing a worn linen shirt and straw hat, candid side-profile captured with a 50mm prime lens, soft amber highlights on his skin, creamy white clouds in the fading sky, natural film emulsion texture, dust, clay, moss, flax, vintage color negative, muted earth tones, analog film emulsion, full frame documentary composition

2. Urban Decay / Abandoned Interior An abandoned industrial warehouse lit solely by harsh tungsten bulbs hanging from the ceiling, peeling paint on brick walls revealing layers of rust and faded ochre, a solitary wooden chair in the center of the concrete floor, pools of warm amber light clashing against cool slate-blue shadows in the corners, floating dust particles catching the light, heavy desaturation of the cold areas pushing them toward emerald and grey, deep micro-contrast on the crumbling brickwork, vintage color grading, desaturated greens, warm ochre shadows, analog film emulsion, dust, clay, moss, flax

3. Intimate Environmental Portrait (Veteran Photojournalist) Close-up portrait of an aging war correspondent in a dimly lit hotel room, his face half-illuminated by the warm amber glow of a bedside lamp, the other half submerged in deep earthy shadows, a glass of whiskey on the table reflecting the light, his skin carrying a natural terracotta warmth, deep wrinkles filled with soft brown undertones, the background out-of-focus with creamy ochre bokeh, extremely natural skin texture without any magenta shift, soft amber highlights, muted earth tones, candid moment capture, press photographer aesthetic, dust, clay, moss, flax, vintage color negative

4. Still Life – Press Gear & Natural Elements Top-down flat lay of a vintage Nikon F3 camera, a leather-bound journal, a single dried eucalyptus branch, and a terracotta mug of black coffee placed on a rough-hewn wooden table, dappled natural window light casting soft shadows, the deep green of the eucalyptus perfectly desaturated into moss, the mug's orange tone shifting to a dusty clay, the coffee reading as deep warm umber, overall palette composed of beige, olive, and rust, analog film emulsion texture throughout, muted earth tones, desaturated greens, warm ochre shadows, dust, clay, moss, flax

Recommended Settings (Z-Image-Turbo / Flux)

ParameterRecommended ValueLoRA Weight 0.70 – 0.95 Guidance Scale 3.5 – 5.5 Steps 20 – 28 Resolution 1024×1024 or 1216×832 (3:2 classic press ratio)

Tip: Start at weight 0.8 . For subtle warming and desaturation (e.g., just fixing skin tones), lower to 0.65 . For a full, heavy vintage emulsion look (perfect for landscapes and rural scenes), raise to 0.95 and pair with the Photojournalism LoRA at 0.7.

Usage Notes

Always pair with the Photojournalism model for maximum impact. Use the triggers: dust, clay, moss, flax, vintage color negative... followed by your subject. The Photojournalism model gives the contrast and grain; this gives the authentic color base.

Place color descriptors early. If you want more warmth, explicitly add golden hour or amber lighting before the trigger line. If you want cooler , add overcast, slate grey .

Avoid color-polluting words. Stay away from vibrant, neon, hyper-saturated, cyberpunk, glowing magenta, vivid blue – these will fight the model.

For pure skin-focused portraits: Add terracotta skin, natural warm complexion to the prompt to anchor the model further.

For landscapes: Emphasize moss, clay, flax in the trigger to pull the environment toward the desired earth tones.

Do not use with HDR or CGI prompts – the natural desaturation will clash horribly with synthetic digital grading.
