Video upscaler and Interpolator [RIFE VFI + Nvidia Video Super Resolution] — v1.0

Use this ComfyUI workflow to turn a low-resolution, low-framerate video into an upscaled, high-FPS video: NVIDIA VSR upscales the video, RIFE VFI adds frames, and the output does not add extra detail to the base video.

RIFE VFI interpolation adds frames between the original frames, filling gaps so motion appears smoother and less choppy.

NVIDIA VSR preserves the original quality while upscaling without introducing pixelation.

Input: a low-resolution, low-framerate video. Output: an upscaled, high-FPS video with added frames.

A reported test used one-minute-long videos targeting 1440p at 64 FPS on an NVIDIA RTX 4090.

Update ComfyUI and use ComfyUI Manager to install ComfyUI_NVIDIA_RTX_Nodes; check that the link points to https://github.com/Comfy-Org/Nvidia_RTX_Nodes_ComfyUI.

If ComfyUI Portable reports an error for the Nvidia VSR node, back up the embedded Python directory, then run `python -m pip install -U --no-build-isolation nvidia-vfx --index-url https://pypi.nvidia.com` from that directory; in PowerShell, use `.\python.exe` instead of `python`.
