Umbra Nodes
Umbra Nodes is the ComfyUI custom-node package used by Umbra Studio.
It provides Umbra metadata save nodes, Power Prompter bridge nodes, prompt/runtime helpers, and Umbra-specific workflow support for ComfyUI.
Included Nodes
Power Prompter (Umbra Lab)Power Prompter WebsocketSave Image (Umbra Lab)Save Image Simple (Umbra Lab)A1111 LoRA Syntax (Umbra Lab)KSampler (Umbra Lab)KSampler Normal (Umbra Lab)CFG Value (Umbra Lab)Steps Value (Umbra Lab)Seed Value (Umbra Lab)Load Checkpoint (Umbra Lab)Image Detailer (Umbra UI)Image Upscale (Umbra UI)
The Umbra UI detailer presents a stable person, face, eye, and hand refinement contract while keeping detector/SAM wiring inside Umbra Nodes. The upscale node uses a selected super-resolution model and applies a true maximum-dimension cap; it never enlarges an already-smaller model output a second time.
Umbra UI Dependencies
Legacy Anima LoRAs on Anima 2.9B
The Power Prompter and A1111 LoRA Syntax nodes automatically remap original 28-block Anima LoRAs when the connected model is a 40-block Anima model. This uses the layer positions recorded in the official expansion manifest. Existing model/CLIP strengths and prompt syntax remain unchanged. Text-encoder and LLM-adapter keys are not reindexed. No conversion files are written and no global ComfyUI loader patch is installed.
Native 2.9B and already-converted LoRAs pass through. Automatic legacy detection requires coverage of all 28 original blocks. Partial-layer LoRAs whose original architecture cannot be determined are rejected with an actionable error. Other model families and ordinary 28-block Anima retain their existing loading path. Remapping corrects layer correspondence; it does not guarantee identical visual results to the original Anima model, or compatibility with every LoRA variant.
After installing a release containing this change, restart ComfyUI. Umbra Studio installs/updates this package through its existing custom-node installer; a Studio-only update does not replace an older installed Umbra Nodes checkout.
The image detailer requires ComfyUI Impact Pack and Impact Subpack. Its balanced profile currently expects these model files in the normal ComfyUI model folders:
models/sams/sam_vit_b_01ec64.pthmodels/ultralytics/segm/person_yolov8m-seg.ptmodels/ultralytics/bbox/face_yolov8m.ptmodels/ultralytics/bbox/Eyes.ptmodels/ultralytics/bbox/hand_yolov8s.pt
The default image upscale profile uses
models/upscale_models/4x-AnimeSharp.pth and caps the final long edge at 3840
pixels.
Manual Install
Clone this repository into your ComfyUI custom nodes folder:
cd ComfyUI/custom_nodes
git clone https://github.com/Nocturne-Ai-Labs/Umbra-Nodes.git Umbra-Nodes
Restart ComfyUI after installing or updating.

Relationship To Umbra Studio
Umbra Studio installs and updates this package from the public repository into its managed ComfyUI runtime. Umbra Nodes is not bundled into Umbra Studio portable packages, which keeps one canonical source for both Umbra and ComfyUI-Manager installations.
